PHILOSOPHY

Poets Grove Family & Children’s Centre is a community-owned serviced managed by a parent committee of management providing a stimulating educational program for children aged 0-6 years.

Underlying our view of providing quality care is the belief that all children should be:

- justly treated as individuals regardless of their ethnicity or additional needs

- given equal care, support, respect and empathy

- provided with a safe environment where they are able to feel secure and accepted

- given equal access to play opportunities, learning experiences and resources.

Poets Grove Family & Children’s Centre aspires to be an extended family for children and we believe in creating a partnership with parents.

We aspire to provide a safe, supportive and happy environment. The centre considers it essential that its environment complies with government health and safety regulations which are monitored regularly. Continuous monitoring and appraising of the centre’s facilities, equipment, programs and daily functioning is an essential undertaking of staff in partnership with the Committee of Management.
