Extended Hours Care and Extended Hours Kindergarten offers part and full time care (1 – 5 days) to children of families that are working, studying or need a break. Qualified Early Childhood Educators plan the program to encourage independence while establishing and developing skills through play.

Families using the long day care program can apply for Child Care Benefits (CCB) through the Family Assistance Office. CCB reduces your daily fee and is means tested based on your family income. To be eligible for CCB families must pass the work/training/study test. www.familyassist.gov.au

Families are also eligible for the 50% rebate for out of pocket child care expenses. This will be paid to families after they have completed their tax return.

Poets Grove Family & Children’s Centre is open

Monday – Friday 7:15am – 6:15pm except public holidays.

The centre also closes over the Christmas New Year period for 2 - 3 weeks depending on the needs of the majority of families.
